Tourist Stream (Visitor Visa Subclass 600)
With this visa you can
- Visit family or friends for 3,6, or 12 months
- Be here as a tourist, for a cruise, or for purposes other than business or medical treatment

Student Visa Subclass 500
With this visa you can
- Participate in an eligible course of study in Australia
- Travel in and out of Australia
- Work up to 48 hours a fortnight when your course of study or training is in session.

- Be enrolled in a course of study in Australia
- Meet English language requirements
- Have adequate health insurance
- Have enough money for your stay
- Be a genuine student
Partner (Provisional Subclass 309) Visa
This visa lets the de facto partner or spouse of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen live in Australia temporarily. Getting this visa is the first step towards a permanent Partner visa (subclass 100).
- It is a temporary visa
- It leads directly to the permanent Partner visa
- You must be outside Australia when you apply
Partner (Migrant Subclass 100) Visa
The visa lets the de facto partner or spouse of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen, live in Australia permanently. It is usually granted to people who hold a temporary Partner visa (subclass 309).

Skilled Independent Visa (Subclass 189)
This visa lets invited workers with skills we need, to live and work permanently anywhere in Australia.
- You don’t need a sponsor or nominator
- You must be invited to apply
- You must be under 45 to be invited
Work & Holiday Visa (subclass 462)
With this visa you can
- Do short-term work in Australia to help pay for your holiday
- Study for up to 4 months
- Travel to and from Australia as many times as you want
- Do 3 months of specified subclass 462 work to become eligible for a second Work and Holiday visa
Basic Eligibility
- Have a passport from an eligible country
- Be 18 to 30 years old (inclusive)
- Apply from outside Australia
- Not be accompanied by dependent children
- Apply on your own. You can’t include family members in your application
